This camera is a direct replacement Boot Handle Reversing Camera for various VW and Audi cars with aftermarket car stereos. The camera replaces the car’s original boot handle for a no-cut necessary clean installation.
With feature of CMOS 2022 Image Sensor, High resolution 500TV Lines and 140 degree viewing angle, the combination design of camera and handle not only adds visual safety to the rear of the vehicle, but also keeps the original aesthetics.

Important Notes before Purchase:
1. Please make sure your car trunk handle has trunk opener switch. Please check your trunk handle is the same size as the camera handle size is: 115mm Width*50mm Height.
Please check if the 2 installation screws position are the same and the distance between screws is: 72mm.

2. The camera will fit the following car models:
- For VW car installed with aftermarket stereo, no camera decoder needed at all, plug and play, without damage to your car.
(As is know, if you want to retain your OEM VW camera on aftermarket car stereo, you will have to install a RGB to RCA decoder box, which is quite troublesome and high-cost.)
- For Audi car installed with aftermarket stereo, besides, your car must have already installed with a camera decoder
(Very Important!).

3. This camera does not fit any OEM car stereo/radio.
4. This camera is built-in Reversing Guard Line. If no line displays, please cut off the white cable.
 

Installation Steps:

1. First remove the battery power supply cable from the vehicle and place the removed cable away from the electrodes to prevent the power from being connected by accident.
2. Remove the original car license plate light, install the camera, adjust the camera position to achieve the best rear viewing angle, snap the camera handle in place and fasten the screws.
3. Connect the power cable of the camera to the power cable of the reversing light, then connect the video cable of the camera to the video extension cable, connect the other end of the video extension cable to the rear view camera input of the car stereo, and connect both the red reverse control cables from the camera and from your car stereo to your reverse gear positive pole.
4. Restore the battery power supply, start the car, put your car in reverse gear, and you can see the reversing image on the car stereo.
